Nehemiah 9:10-12

¹⁰You sent signs^(A) and wonders^(B) against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name^(C) for yourself,^(D) which remains to this day. ¹¹You divided the sea before them,^(E) so that they passed through it on dry ground, but you hurled their pursuers into the depths,^(F) like a stone into mighty waters.^(G) ¹²By day^(H) you led^(I) them with a pillar of cloud,^(J) and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.

For You knew that they ^(B)acted ^[a]proudly against them.
So You ^(C)made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.
¹¹^(D)And You divided the sea before them,
So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land;
And their persecutors You threw into the deep,
^(E)As a stone into the mighty waters.
¹²Moreover You ^(F)led them by day with a cloudy pillar,
And by night with a pillar of fire,
To give them light on the road
Which they should travel.
