⁹ For all of them were trying to frighten us, ^[a]thinking, “^[b]They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done.” But now, ^(A)God, strengthen my hands.

⁴¹ And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He ^(A)knelt down and began to pray, ⁴² saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this ^(B)cup from Me; ^(C)yet not My will, but Yours be done.” ⁴³ [^[a]Now an ^(D)angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him. ⁴⁴ And ^(E)being in agony, He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground].

Our Victory in Christ

²⁶ Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for ^(A)we do not know what to pray for as we should, but ^(B)the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with ^[a]groanings too deep for words;
