Nehemiah 4:12-14
New Life Version
12 When the Jews who lived by them came, they told us ten times, “They will come up against us from all the places where they live.” 13 So I put men in the lowest parts of the places behind the wall, in the open places. I put the people in place by their families with their swords, spears and bows. 14 When I saw their fear, I got up and said to the rulers and leaders and the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord Who is great and honored with fear. And fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”

Nehemiah 4:12-14
New International Version
12 Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
13 Therefore I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows. 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid(A) of them. Remember(B) the Lord, who is great and awesome,(C) and fight(D) for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
Nehemiah 4:12-14
New King James Version
12 So it was, when the Jews who dwelt near them came, that they told us ten times, “From whatever place you turn, they will be upon us.”
13 Therefore I positioned men behind the lower parts of the wall, at the openings; and I set the people according to their families, with their swords, their spears, and their bows. 14 And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, (A)“Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, (B)great and awesome, and (C)fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”
