Nehemiah 13:22-24

22 Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves(A) and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy.(B)
Remember me for this also, my God,(C) and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.(D)
23 In those days I also saw Jews who had married women from Ashdod, Ammon, and Moab.(E) 24 Half of their children spoke the language of Ashdod or the language of one of the other peoples but could not speak Hebrew.[a](F)

22 And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
23 In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:
24 And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people.

Remember(A) me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.
23 Moreover, in those days I saw men of Judah who had married(B) women from Ashdod, Ammon and Moab.(C) 24 Half of their children spoke the language of Ashdod or the language of one of the other peoples, and did not know how to speak the language(D) of Judah.
