24 Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, of the descendants of Zerah(A) son of Judah, was the king’s(B) agent[a] in every matter concerning the people.
25 As for the farming settlements with their fields:
Some of Judah’s descendants lived in Kiriath-arba(C)
and Dibon and their surrounding villages,(D) and Jekabzeel and its settlements;
