7 You are the Lord God,
(A)Who chose Abram
And brought him out from (B)Ur of the Chaldees,
And (C)gave him the name Abraham.
8 You found (D)his heart faithful before You,
And made a covenant with him
To give him the land of the Canaanite,
Of the Hittite and the Amorite,
Of the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite—
To give it to his [a]descendants.
And You (E)have fulfilled Your [b]promise,
Because You are righteous.

And His (H)oath to Isaac.
10 Then He (I)confirmed it to Jacob as a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “(J)To you I will give the land of Canaan
