31 Nevertheless, in Your great compassion, You did not put an end to them or abandon them, for You are a gracious and compassionate God.
32 “So now, our God—the great, mighty and awesome God, who keeps covenant and mercy—do not let all the hardship that has befallen us seem insignificant to you—our kings, our leaders, our kohanim, our prophets, our ancestors and all Your people, from the time of the kings of Assyria to this day. 33 You are righteous in all that has come upon us. For You have acted faithfully while we have done wickedly.

31 But in your great mercy you did not put an end(A) to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful(B) God.
32 “Now therefore, our God, the great God, mighty(C) and awesome,(D) who keeps his covenant of love,(E) do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes—the hardship(F) that has come on us, on our kings and leaders, on our priests and prophets, on our ancestors and all your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today. 33 In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous;(G) you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly.(H)
