⁷³ So ^(A)the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, some of the people, the temple servants, and all Israel lived in their cities.

^(B)Then the seventh month came, and the sons of Israel were in their cities.

Ezra Reads the Book of the Law

8 And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of ^(C)the Water Gate, and they said to ^(D)Ezra the scribe to bring ^(E)the book of the law of Moses which Yahweh had commanded to Israel.
