2 Para entonces los israelitas ya habían apartado de sí a los hijos de extranjeros. Puestos de pie, los israelitas confesaron sus pecados y los de sus padres, 3 y así de pie, durante tres horas escucharon la lectura del libro de la ley del Señor su Dios, y durante las siguientes tres horas el pueblo confesó sus pecados y adoró al Señor.
4 Luego, los levitas Josué, Bani, Cadmiel, Sebanías, Binuy, Serebías, Bani y Quenani subieron los escalones, y en voz alta clamaron al Señor.

2 Habiéndose separado de los extranjeros, se pusieron de pie y confesaron públicamente sus propios pecados y la maldad de sus antepasados. 3 Permanecieron en su lugar y durante tres horas leyeron el libro de la Ley del Señor su Dios; en las tres horas siguientes[a] confesaron sus pecados y lo adoraron. 4 Luego los levitas Jesúa, Baní, Cadmiel, Sebanías, Buní, Serebías, Baní y Quenaní subieron a la plataforma y en alta voz invocaron al Señor su Dios.

2 Those of Israelite descent had separated themselves from all foreigners.(A) They stood in their places and confessed their sins and the sins of their ancestors.(B) 3 They stood where they were and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day, and spent another quarter in confession and in worshiping the Lord their God. 4 Standing on the stairs of the Levites(C) were Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani and Kenani. They cried out with loud voices to the Lord their God.

2 (A)Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all who were of foreign extraction, then stood forward and confessed their sins and the guilty deeds of their ancestors. 3 When they had taken their places, they read from the book of the law of the Lord their God, for a fourth of the day, and during another fourth they made their confession and bowed down before the Lord their God. 4 Standing on the platform of the Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani, who cried out to the Lord their God, with a loud voice.
