The Promise Fulfilled

⁴³ So the Lord gave to Israel ^(A)all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they ^(B)took possession of it and dwelt in it.

The Remainder of the Land Divided

18 Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together ^(A)at Shiloh, and ^(B)set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them.

²³ So Joshua took the whole land, ^(A)according to all that the Lord had said to Moses; and Joshua gave it as an inheritance to Israel ^(B)according to their divisions by their tribes. Then the land ^(C)rested from war.

²⁶ and that they may come to their senses and ^(A)escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

¹⁸ “Is not the Lord your God with you? ^(A)And has He not given you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land is subdued before the Lord and before His people.

^45 (A)Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.

^31 (A)But your little ones, whom you said would be victims, I will bring in, and they shall ^[a]know the land which ^(B)you have despised.
