¹³ He divided the sea and let them pass through it
    and made the waters stand like a heap.^(A)

¹¹ Then they^[a] remembered the days of old,
    of Moses his servant.^[b]
Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea
    with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is the one who put within them
    his holy spirit,^(A)
12 who caused his glorious arm
    to march at the right hand of Moses,
who divided the waters before them
    to make for himself an everlasting name,^(B)
13     who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
    they did not stumble.^(C)

¹³ who divided the Red Sea^[a] in two,
    for his steadfast love endures forever;^(A)
14 and made Israel pass through the midst of it,
    for his steadfast love endures forever;^(B)
15 but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea,^[b]
    for his steadfast love endures forever;^(C)

⁹ He rebuked the Red Sea,^[a] and it became dry;
    he led them through the deep as through a desert.^(A)
10 So he saved them from the hand of the foe
    and delivered them from the hand of the enemy.^(B)
11 The waters covered their adversaries;
    not one of them was left.^(C)
