⁵ Then my God put it into my heart to gather the nobles, the rulers, and the people, that they might be registered by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of those who had come up in the first return, and found written in it:

9 So ^(A)all Israel was ^[a]recorded by genealogies, and indeed, they were inscribed in the book of the kings of Israel. But Judah was carried away captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.

^29 (A)Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood and ^(B)the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.

¹¹ “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there ^(A)who did not have on a wedding garment. ¹² So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was ^(B)speechless. ¹³ Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, ^[a]take him away, and cast him ^(C)into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

¹¹ “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ^(A)‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ ¹² But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, ^(B)I do not know you.’

^3 (A)if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned ^(B)a young bull without blemish as a ^(C)sin offering.
