¹⁶ I also persevered in the work on this wall, and we acquired no land, and all my servants were gathered there for the work.

⁹ And ^(A)let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, ^(B)if we do not give up.

^5 (A)For we never came with words of flattery,^[a] as you know, nor with a pretext for greed—^(B)God is witness. ^6 (C)Nor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, ^(D)though we could have made ^(E)demands as ^(F)apostles of Christ.

²⁰ For I have no one ^(A)like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare. ²¹ For they all ^(B)seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

^58 (A)Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in ^(B)the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord ^(C)your labor is not in vain.

^33 (A)I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. ^34 (B)You yourselves know that ^(C)these hands ministered to my necessities and ^(D)to those who were with me. ³⁵ In all things ^(E)I have shown you that ^(F)by working hard in this way we must ^(G)help the weak and ^(H)remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed ^(I)to give than to receive.’”

¹⁶ But granting that ^(A)I myself did not burden you, I was crafty, you say, and got the better of you by deceit. ¹⁷ Did I take advantage of you ^(B)through any of those whom I sent to you? ^18 (C)I urged Titus to go, and sent ^(D)the brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not act in the same spirit? Did we not take the same steps?

⁷ to those who ^(A)by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;

¹⁵ As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and ^(A)bear fruit ^(B)with patience.
