11 Căpeteniile poporului s-au aşezat la Ierusalim. Cealaltă parte a poporului a tras la sorţ, pentru ca unul din zece să vină să locuiască la Ierusalim în cetatea(A) sfântă, iar ceilalţi să locuiască în cetăţi. 2 Poporul a binecuvântat pe toţi cei ce au primit de bunăvoie(B) să locuiască la Ierusalim. 3 Iată(C) căpeteniile ţinutului care s-au aşezat la Ierusalim. În cetăţile lui Iuda, fiecare s-a aşezat în moşia lui, în cetatea lui Israel, preoţii şi leviţii, slujitorii(D) Templului şi fiii(E) robilor lui Solomon.

The People Dwelling in Jerusalem
11 Now the leaders of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; the rest of the people cast lots to bring one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, (A)the holy city, and nine-tenths were to dwell in other cities. 2 And the people blessed all the men who (B)willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3 (C)These are the heads of the province who dwelt in Jerusalem. (But in the cities of Judah everyone dwelt in his own possession in their cities—Israelites, priests, Levites, (D)Nethinim, and (E)descendants of Solomon’s servants.)

11 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2 And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3 Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.
