Nahum 1:7-9

^7 (A)The Lord is good,
    ^(B)a stronghold in the day of trouble;
^(C)he knows those who take refuge in him.
⁸     But ^(D)with an overflowing flood
he will make a complete end of the adversaries,^[a]
    and ^(E)will pursue his enemies into darkness.
⁹ What ^(F)do you plot against the Lord?
    ^(G)He will make a complete end;
    trouble will not rise up a second time.
