Nahum 3:12-14

12 All your fortifications are (A)fig trees with [a](B)ripe fruit—
When shaken, they fall into the eater’s mouth.
13 Behold, your people are (C)women in your midst!
The gates of your land are (D)opened wide to your enemies;
Fire consumes your gate bars.
14 (E)Draw for yourself water for the siege!
(F)Strengthen your fortifications!
Go into the clay and tread the mortar!
[b]Take hold of the brick mold!

12 All thy fortresses shall be like fig-trees with the first-ripe figs: if they be shaken, they fall into the mouth of the eater. 13 Behold, thy people in the midst of thee are women; the gates of thy land are set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire hath devoured thy bars. 14 Draw thee water for the siege; strengthen thy fortresses; go into the clay, and tread the mortar; [a]make strong the brickkiln.
