⁵“I am against^(A) you,” declares the Lord Almighty.
    “I will lift your skirts^(B) over your face.
I will show the nations your nakedness^(C)
    and the kingdoms your shame.
⁶I will pelt you with filth,^(D)
    I will treat you with contempt^(E)
    and make you a spectacle.^(F)
⁷All who see you will flee^(G) from you and say,
    ‘Nineveh^(H) is in ruins^(I)—who will mourn for her?’^(J)
    Where can I find anyone to comfort^(K) you?”
