¹⁴ “But she carried her prostitution still further. She saw men portrayed on a wall,^(A) figures of Chaldeans^[a] portrayed in red,^{(B) 15} with belts^(C) around their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like Babylonian chariot officers, natives of Chaldea.^[b]

³ Then another sign appeared in heaven:^(A) an enormous red dragon^(B) with seven heads^(C) and ten horns^(D) and seven crowns^(E) on its heads.

⁴ Then another horse came out, a fiery red one.^(A) Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth^(B) and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.
