Etapas desde Egipto hasta el Jordán
33 Estas son las etapas de los hijos de Israel que salieron de la tierra de Egipto, según sus ejércitos, bajo la dirección de Moisés y Aarón. 2 Moisés anotó por escrito, por mandato del SEÑOR, los puntos de partida de sus etapas. Estas son sus etapas, según sus puntos de partida:
3 Se pusieron en marcha desde Ramesés el día quince del mes primero[a], que era el segundo día de la Pascua. Los hijos de Israel salieron osadamente, a la vista de todos los egipcios, 4 mientras los egipcios estaban enterrando a todos los primogénitos que el SEÑOR había matado entre ellos. El SEÑOR también había ejecutado actos justicieros contra sus dioses.
5 Entonces los hijos de Israel partieron de Ramesés y acamparon en Sucot.
6 Partieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, que está en el extremo del desierto.
7 Partieron de Etam y se volvieron hacia Pi-hajirot, que está delante de Baal-zefón, y acamparon frente a Migdol.
8 Partieron de Pi-hajirot y pasaron por en medio del mar al desierto. Fueron tres días de camino por el desierto de Etam y acamparon en Mara.
9 Partieron de Mara y llegaron a Elim, donde había doce manantiales de agua y setenta palmeras, y acamparon allí.
10 Partieron de Elim y acamparon junto al mar Rojo.
11 Partieron del mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.
12 Partieron del desierto de Sin y acamparon en Dofca.
13 Partieron de Dofca y acamparon en Alús.
14 Partieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidim, donde el pueblo no tuvo agua para beber.

37 Partieron de Cades y acamparon en el monte Hor, en la frontera de la tierra de Edom. 38 El sacerdote Aarón subió al monte Hor, conforme al mandato del SEÑOR, y allí murió a los cuarenta años de la salida de los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto, el primero del mes quinto[b]. 39 Aarón tenía ciento veintitrés años cuando murió en el monte Hor. 40 Entonces el rey de Arad, cananeo, que habitaba en el Néguev en la tierra de Canaán, se enteró de que habían llegado los hijos de Israel.
41 Partieron del monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmona.
42 Partieron de Zalmona y acamparon en Punón.
43 Partieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.
44 Partieron de Obot y acamparon en Iyeabarim, en la frontera de Moab.
45 Partieron de Iyim y acamparon en Dibón-gad.
46 Partieron de Dibón-gad y acamparon en Almón-diblataim.
47 Partieron de Almón-diblataim y acamparon en los montes de Abarim, frente al Nebo.
48 Partieron de los montes de Abarim y acamparon en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó.
49 Y acamparon junto al Jordán, desde Bet-jesimot hasta Abel-sitim, en las llanuras de Moab.
Instrucciones para conquistar Canaán
50 Entonces el SEÑOR habló a Moisés en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó, diciendo: 51 “Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: ‘Cuando hayan cruzado el Jordán a la tierra de Canaán, 52 echarán de su presencia a todos los habitantes de la tierra, destruirán todas sus esculturas, destruirán todas sus imágenes de fundición y devastarán todos sus lugares altos. 53 Tomarán posesión de la tierra y habitarán en ella, porque a ustedes les he dado la tierra, para que la tengan en posesión.
54 “‘Recibirán la tierra en heredad por sorteo según sus clanes. A los más numerosos darán una heredad más grande, a los menos numerosos darán una heredad más pequeña. Donde a uno le toque por sorteo, allí tendrá su posesión. Según las tribus de sus padres, la recibirán en heredad.
55 “‘Pero si no echan de delante de ustedes a los habitantes de la tierra, sucederá que los que dejen de ellos serán como aguijones en sus ojos y espinas en sus costados, y los hostilizarán en la tierra que ustedes han de habitar. 56 Y sucederá que les haré a ustedes lo que pensé hacerles a ellos’”.

Ruta de Israel por el desierto
33 Cuando los israelitas salieron de Egipto bajo la dirección de Moisés y de Aarón, marchaban ordenadamente, como un ejército. 2 Por orden del Señor, Moisés anotaba cada uno de los lugares de donde partían y adonde llegaban. Esta es la ruta que siguieron:
3 El día quince del mes primero, un día después de la Pascua, los israelitas partieron de Ramsés. Marcharon con aire triunfal a la vista de todos los egipcios, 4 mientras estos sepultaban a sus primogénitos, a quienes el Señor había herido de muerte. El Señor también dictó sentencia contra los dioses egipcios.
5 Los israelitas partieron de Ramsés y acamparon en Sucot.
6 Partieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, en los límites del desierto.
7 Partieron de Etam, pero volvieron a Pi Hajirot, al este de Baal Zefón, y acamparon cerca de Migdol.
8 Partieron de Pi Hajirot y cruzaron el mar hasta llegar al desierto. Después de andar tres días por el desierto de Etam, acamparon en Mara.
9 Partieron de Mara con dirección a Elim, donde había doce manantiales y setenta palmeras, y acamparon allí.
10 Partieron de Elim y acamparon cerca del mar Rojo.

40 El rey cananeo de Arad, que vivía en el Néguev de Canaán, se enteró de que los israelitas se acercaban.
41 Partieron del monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmona.
42 Partieron de Zalmona y acamparon en Punón.

50 Allí en las llanuras de Moab, cerca del Jordán, a la altura de Jericó, el Señor dijo a Moisés: 51 «Habla con los israelitas y diles que, una vez que crucen el Jordán y entren en Canaán, 52 deberán expulsar del país a todos sus habitantes y destruir todos los ídolos e imágenes fundidas que ellos tienen. Ordénales que arrasen todos sus altares paganos 53 y conquisten la tierra y la habiten, porque yo se la he dado a ellos como heredad. 54 La tierra deberán repartirla por sorteo, según sus clanes. La tribu más numerosa recibirá la heredad más grande, mientras que la tribu menos numerosa recibirá la heredad más pequeña. Todo lo que les toque en el sorteo será de ellos, y recibirán su heredad según sus familias patriarcales.
55 »Pero si no expulsan a los habitantes de la tierra que ustedes van a poseer, sino que los dejan allí, esa gente les causará problemas, como si tuvieran clavadas astillas en los ojos y espinas en los costados. 56 Entonces yo haré con ustedes lo que había pensado hacer con ellos».

33 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the (A)hand of Moses and Aaron. 2 Now Moses wrote down the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. And these are their journeys according to their starting points:
3 They (B)departed from Rameses in (C)the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out (D)with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians. 4 For the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, (E)whom the Lord had killed among them. Also (F)on their gods the Lord had executed judgments.
5 (G)Then the children of Israel moved from Rameses and camped at Succoth. 6 They departed from (H)Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness. 7 (I)They moved from Etham and turned back to Pi Hahiroth, which is east of Baal Zephon; and they camped near Migdol. 8 They departed [a]from before Hahiroth and (J)passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, went three days’ journey in the Wilderness of Etham, and camped at Marah. 9 They moved from Marah and (K)came to Elim. At Elim were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there.
10 They moved from Elim and camped by the Red Sea. 11 They moved from the Red Sea and camped in the (L)Wilderness of Sin. 12 They journeyed from the Wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah. 13 They departed from Dophkah and camped at Alush. 14 They moved from Alush and camped at (M)Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15 They departed from Rephidim and camped in the (N)Wilderness of Sinai. 16 They moved from the Wilderness of Sinai and camped (O)at [b]Kibroth Hattaavah. 17 They departed from Kibroth Hattaavah and (P)camped at Hazeroth. 18 They departed from Hazeroth and camped at (Q)Rithmah. 19 They departed from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez. 20 They departed from Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah. 21 They moved from Libnah and camped at Rissah. 22 They journeyed from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah. 23 They went from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher. 24 They moved from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah. 25 They moved from Haradah and camped at Makheloth. 26 They moved from Makheloth and camped at Tahath. 27 They departed from Tahath and camped at Terah. 28 They moved from Terah and camped at Mithkah. 29 They went from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah. 30 They departed from Hashmonah and (R)camped at Moseroth. 31 They departed from Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan. 32 They moved from (S)Bene Jaakan and (T)camped at Hor Hagidgad. 33 They went from Hor Hagidgad and camped at Jotbathah. 34 They moved from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah. 35 They departed from Abronah (U)and camped at Ezion Geber. 36 They moved from Ezion Geber and camped in the (V)Wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh. 37 They moved from (W)Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the boundary of the land of Edom.
38 Then (X)Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the command of the Lord, and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month. 39 Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 Now (Y)the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 So they departed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah. 42 They departed from Zalmonah and camped at Punon. 43 They departed from Punon and (Z)camped at Oboth. 44 (AA)They departed from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the border of Moab. 45 They departed from [c]Ijim and camped (AB)at Dibon Gad. 46 They moved from Dibon Gad and camped at (AC)Almon Diblathaim. 47 They moved from Almon Diblathaim (AD)and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo. 48 They departed from the mountains of Abarim and (AE)camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho. 49 They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jesimoth as far as the (AF)Abel Acacia Grove[d] in the plains of Moab.
Instructions for the Conquest of Canaan
50 Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, saying, 51 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: (AG)‘When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 (AH)then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their [e]high places; 53 you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to (AI)possess. 54 And (AJ)you shall divide the land by lot as an inheritance among your families; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone’s inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers. 55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be (AK)irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell. 56 Moreover it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them.’ ”
