Campamentos y jefes de las tribus
2 Habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo: 2 Los hijos de Israel acamparán cada uno junto a su bandera, bajo las enseñas de las casas de sus padres; alrededor del tabernáculo de reunión acamparán. 3 Estos acamparán al oriente, al este: la bandera del campamento de Judá, por sus ejércitos; y el jefe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab. 4 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos. 5 Junto a él acamparán los de la tribu de Isacar; y el jefe de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael hijo de Zuar. 6 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cincuenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos. 7 Y la tribu de Zabulón; y el jefe de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón. 8 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cincuenta y siete mil cuatrocientos. 9 Todos los contados en el campamento de Judá, ciento ochenta y seis mil cuatrocientos, por sus ejércitos, marcharán delante.
10 La bandera del campamento de Rubén estará al sur, por sus ejércitos; y el jefe de los hijos de Rubén, Elisur hijo de Sedeur. 11 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cuarenta y seis mil quinientos. 12 Acamparán junto a él los de la tribu de Simeón; y el jefe de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisadai. 13 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cincuenta y nueve mil trescientos. 14 Y la tribu de Gad; y el jefe de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf hijo de Reuel. 15 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos cincuenta. 16 Todos los contados en el campamento de Rubén, ciento cincuenta y un mil cuatrocientos cincuenta, por sus ejércitos, marcharán los segundos.
17 Luego irá el tabernáculo de reunión, con el campamento de los levitas, en medio de los campamentos en el orden en que acampan; así marchará cada uno junto a su bandera.
18 La bandera del campamento de Efraín por sus ejércitos, al occidente; y el jefe de los hijos de Efraín, Elisama hijo de Amiud. 19 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cuarenta mil quinientos. 20 Junto a él estará la tribu de Manasés; y el jefe de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur. 21 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, treinta y dos mil doscientos. 22 Y la tribu de Benjamín; y el jefe de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeoni. 23 Y su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, treinta y cinco mil cuatrocientos. 24 Todos los contados en el campamento de Efraín, ciento ocho mil cien, por sus ejércitos, irán los terceros.
25 La bandera del campamento de Dan estará al norte, por sus ejércitos; y el jefe de los hijos de Dan, Ahiezer hijo de Amisadai. 26 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, sesenta y dos mil setecientos. 27 Junto a él acamparán los de la tribu de Aser; y el jefe de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel hijo de Ocrán. 28 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cuarenta y un mil quinientos. 29 Y la tribu de Neftalí; y el jefe de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán. 30 Su cuerpo de ejército, con sus contados, cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos. 31 Todos los contados en el campamento de Dan, ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos, irán los últimos tras sus banderas.
32 Estos son los contados de los hijos de Israel, según las casas de sus padres; todos los contados por campamentos, por sus ejércitos, seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta. 33 Mas los levitas no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel, como Jehová lo mandó a Moisés.
34 E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme a todas las cosas que Jehová mandó a Moisés; así acamparon por sus banderas, y así marcharon cada uno por sus familias, según las casas de sus padres.

2 El Señor se dirigió a Moisés y Aarón, y les dijo:
2 «Los israelitas deberán acampar a cierta distancia alrededor de la tienda del encuentro, cada uno bajo su propia bandera y con los distintivos de su propia familia.
3 »Al este acamparán los ejércitos que marchan bajo la bandera de Judá. El ejército de la tribu de Judá tiene como jefe a Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab, 4 y según el censo se compone de setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos hombres. 5 Junto a ellos acampará el ejército de la tribu de Isacar, que tiene como jefe a Natanael, hijo de Suar, 6 y que según el censo se compone de cincuenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos hombres. 7 También acampará con ellos el ejército de la tribu de Zabulón, que tiene como jefe a Eliab, hijo de Helón, 8 y que según el censo se compone de cincuenta y siete mil cuatrocientos hombres. 9 De esta manera el campamento de Judá se compondrá de tres ejércitos, con un total de ciento ochenta y seis mil cuatrocientos hombres, que marcharán al frente de los israelitas.
10 »Al sur acamparán los ejércitos que marchan bajo la bandera de Rubén. El ejército de la tribu de Rubén tiene como jefe a Elisur, hijo de Sedeúr, 11 y según el censo se compone de cuarenta y seis mil quinientos hombres. 12 Junto a ellos acampará el ejército de la tribu de Simeón, que tiene como jefe a Selumiel, hijo de Surisadai, 13 y que según el censo se compone de cincuenta y nueve mil trescientos hombres. 14 También acampará con ellos el ejército de la tribu de Gad, que tiene como jefe a Eliasaf, hijo de Reuel, 15 y que según el censo se compone de cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos cincuenta hombres. 16 De esta manera el campamento de Rubén se compondrá de tres ejércitos, con un total de ciento cincuenta y un mil cuatrocientos cincuenta hombres, que marcharán en segundo lugar.
17 »Los levitas marcharán en seguida, entre los cuatro campamentos, llevando con ellos la tienda del encuentro. Los cuatro campamentos marcharán uno tras otro, en el orden en que hayan acampado y bajo su propia bandera.
18 »Al oeste acamparán los ejércitos que marchan bajo la bandera de Efraín. El ejército de la tribu de Efraín tiene como jefe a Elisamá, hijo de Amihud, 19 y según el censo se compone de cuarenta mil quinientos hombres. 20 Junto a ellos acampará el ejército de la tribu de Manasés, que tiene como jefe a Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur, 21 y que según el censo se compone de treinta y dos mil doscientos hombres. 22 También acampará con ellos el ejército de la tribu de Benjamín, que tiene como jefe a Abidán, hijo de Guidoní, 23 y que según el censo se compone de treinta y cinco mil cuatrocientos hombres. 24 De esta manera el campamento de Efraín se compondrá de tres ejércitos, con un total de ciento ocho mil cien hombres, que marcharán en tercer lugar.
25 »Al norte acamparán los ejércitos que marchan bajo la bandera de Dan. El ejército de la tribu de Dan tiene como jefe a Ahiézer, hijo de Amisadai, 26 y según el censo se compone de sesenta y dos mil setecientos hombres. 27 Junto a ellos acampará el ejército de la tribu de Aser, que tiene como jefe a Paguiel, hijo de Ocrán, 28 y que según el censo se compone de cuarenta y un mil quinientos hombres. 29 También acampará con ellos el ejército de la tribu de Neftalí, que tiene como jefe a Ahirá, hijo de Enán, 30 y que según el censo se compone de cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos hombres. 31 De esta manera el campamento de Dan se compondrá de tres ejércitos, con un total de ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos hombres, que cerrarán la marcha tras su bandera.»
32 El censo de las familias israelitas dio como resultado un ejército de seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta hombres. 33 Pero, tal como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés, los levitas no fueron contados en el censo.
34 Los israelitas lo hicieron todo tal como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés: cada cual acampó bajo su propia bandera y marchó con su propio clan y su propia familia.

32 These are the ones counted from the people of Isra’el by clans; the total number recorded in the camps, company by company, was 603,550. 33 But, as Adonai ordered Moshe, the L’vi’im were not counted with the rest of Isra’el.
34 The people of Isra’el did everything Adonai had ordered Moshe: they set up camp under their banners, and they set out, each according to his family and clan.

34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.

The Arrangement of the Tribal Camps
2 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard(A) and holding the banners of their family.”
3 On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.(B) 4 His division numbers 74,600.
5 The tribe of Issachar(C) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.(D) 6 His division numbers 54,400.
7 The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon.(E) 8 His division numbers 57,400.
9 All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.(F)
10 On the south(G) will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.(H) 11 His division numbers 46,500.
12 The tribe of Simeon(I) will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.(J) 13 His division numbers 59,300.
14 The tribe of Gad(K) will be next. The leader of the people of Gad is Eliasaph son of Deuel.[a](L) 15 His division numbers 45,650.
16 All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben,(M) according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.
17 Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites(N) will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.
18 On the west(O) will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim(P) under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.(Q) 19 His division numbers 40,500.
20 The tribe of Manasseh(R) will be next to them. The leader of the people of Manasseh is Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.(S) 21 His division numbers 32,200.
22 The tribe of Benjamin(T) will be next. The leader of the people of Benjamin is Abidan son of Gideoni.(U) 23 His division numbers 35,400.
24 All the men assigned to the camp of Ephraim,(V) according to their divisions, number 108,100. They will set out third.(W)
25 On the north(X) will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard.(Y) The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.(Z) 26 His division numbers 62,700.
27 The tribe of Asher will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Asher is Pagiel son of Okran.(AA) 28 His division numbers 41,500.
29 The tribe of Naphtali(AB) will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.(AC) 30 His division numbers 53,400.
31 All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last,(AD) under their standards.
32 These are the Israelites, counted according to their families.(AE) All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.(AF) 33 The Levites, however, were not counted(AG) along with the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.
34 So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.
