Las trompetas de plata
10 El Señor se dirigió a Moisés y le dijo:
2 «Haz dos trompetas de plata labrada a martillo, las cuales te servirán para reunir a la gente y para dar la señal de partida. 3 Cuando se toquen las dos trompetas, todo el pueblo deberá reunirse ante ti, a la entrada de la tienda del encuentro con Dios. 4 Pero cuando se toque una sola, se reunirán solamente los principales jefes de tribu. 5 Cuando el toque de trompetas vaya acompañado de fuertes gritos, se pondrán en camino los que estén acampados en el lado este, 6 y al segundo toque se pondrán en camino los que estén acampados en el lado sur. El toque de trompetas acompañado de gritos será la señal de partida. 7 El simple toque de trompetas será la señal para que se reúna la gente. 8 Los encargados de tocar las trompetas serán los sacerdotes, los descendientes de Aarón. Ésta será para ustedes una ley permanente.
9 »Cuando un enemigo los ataque en su propio territorio y ustedes tengan que salir a pelear, toquen las trompetas y lancen fuertes gritos. Así yo, el Señor su Dios, me acordaré de ustedes y los salvaré de sus enemigos. 10 Toquen también las trompetas en días alegres, como los días de fiesta o de luna nueva, cuando ofrecen holocaustos y sacrificios de reconciliación. Así yo me acordaré de ustedes. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.»
Los israelitas parten del Sinaí
11 El día veinte del mes segundo del segundo año, se levantó la nube de encima del santuario de la alianza. 12 Los israelitas se pusieron en marcha, partiendo del desierto de Sinaí. La nube se detuvo en el desierto de Parán. 13 Tal como el Señor lo había ordenado por medio de Moisés, 14 en primer lugar iban los ejércitos que marchaban bajo la bandera de Judá, y que tenían como jefe a Nahasón, hijo de Aminadab. 15 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Isacar estaba Natanael, hijo de Suar. 16 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Zabulón estaba Eliab, hijo de Helón. 17 Entonces desarmaron el santuario, y los descendientes de Guersón y de Merarí, que eran los encargados de transportarlo, se pusieron en camino.
18 En seguida iban los ejércitos que marchaban bajo la bandera de Rubén, y que tenían como jefe a Elisur, hijo de Sedeúr. 19 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Simeón estaba Selumiel, hijo de Surisadai. 20 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Gad estaba Eliasaf, hijo de Reuel. 21 En seguida iban los descendientes de Quehat, que llevaban los utensilios sagrados. Cuando ellos llegaban, ya encontraban el santuario instalado.
22 Después seguían los ejércitos que marchaban bajo la bandera de Efraín, y que tenían como jefe a Elisamá, hijo de Amihud. 23 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Manasés estaba Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur. 24 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Benjamín estaba Abidán, hijo de Guidoní.
25 Por último, detrás de los otros ejércitos, seguían los que marchaban bajo la bandera de Dan, y que tenían como jefe a Ahiézer, hijo de Amisadai. 26 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Aser estaba Paguiel, hijo de Ocrán. 27 Al frente del ejército de la tribu de Neftalí estaba Ahirá, hijo de Enán.
28 Éste era el orden que seguían los ejércitos israelitas cuando se ponían en camino.
Moisés invita a su cuñado a acompañarlos
29 Un día Moisés le dijo a su cuñado Hobab, hijo de Reuel el madianita:
—Nosotros nos vamos al país que el Señor ha prometido darnos. Ven con nosotros y te trataremos bien, pues el Señor ha prometido tratar con bondad a Israel.
30 Pero Hobab le contestó:
—No, yo prefiero volver a mi tierra, donde están mis parientes.
31 —No te vayas —insistió Moisés—. Tú conoces bien los lugares donde se puede acampar en el desierto, y puedes servirnos de guía. 32 Si vienes con nosotros, compartiremos contigo todo lo bueno que el Señor nos conceda.
33 Así pues, se fueron del monte del Señor y caminaron durante tres días. El arca de la alianza del Señor iba delante de ellos, buscándoles un lugar donde descansar. 34 Durante el día, apenas se ponían en camino, la nube del Señor iba encima de ellos. 35 En cuanto el arca se ponía en marcha, Moisés decía:
«¡Levántate, Señor!
¡Que se dispersen tus enemigos!
¡Que al verte huyan los que te odian!»
36 Pero cuando el arca se detenía, decía Moisés:
«¡Vuelve ahora, Señor,
a los incontables ejércitos de Israel!»

10 2 The use of the silver trumpets. 11 The Israelites depart from Sinai. 14 The captains of the host are numbered. 30 Hobab refuseth to go with Moses his son-in-law.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Make thee two trumpets of silver: of an [a]whole piece shalt thou make them, that thou mayest use them for the assembling of the Congregation, and for the departure of the camp.
3 And when they shall blow with them, all the Congregation shall assemble to thee, before the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
4 But if they blow with one, then the Princes, or heads over the thousands of Israel shall come unto thee.
5 But if ye blow an alarm, then the camp of them that pitch on the [b]East part, shall go forward.
6 If ye blow an alarm the second time, then the host of them that lie on the [c]South side, shall march: for they shall blow an alarm when they remove.
7 But in the assembling the Congregation, ye shall blow without an alarm.
8 And the sons of Aaron the Priest shall [d]blow the trumpets, and ye shall have them as a law forever in your generations.
9 And when ye go to war in your land against the enemy that vexeth you, ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets, and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and shall be saved from your enemies.
10 Also in the day of your [e]gladness, and in your feast days, and in the beginning of your months, ye shall also blow the trumpets [f]over your burnt sacrifices, and over your peace offerings, that they may be a remembrance for you before your God: I am the Lord your God.
11 ¶ And in the second year, in the second month, and in the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from the Tabernacle of the Testimony.
12 And the children of Israel departed on their [g]journeys out of the desert of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
13 So they [h]first took their journey at the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
14 ¶ (A)In the first place went the standard of the host of the children of Judah according to their armies: and (B)Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his band.
15 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethanel the son of Zuar.
16 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
17 When the Tabernacle was taken down, then the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari went forward bearing [i]the Tabernacle.
18 ¶ After, departed the standard of the host of Reuben, according to their armies, and over his band was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
19 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
20 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
21 The Kohathites also went forward and [j]bare the (C)Sanctuary, and the [k]former did set up the Tabernacle against they came.
22 ¶ Then the standard of the host of the children of Ephraim went forward according to their armies, and over his band was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
23 And over the band of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
24 And over the band of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
25 ¶ Last, the standard of the host of the children of Dan marched, [l]gathering all the hosts according to their armies: and over his band was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
27 And over the band of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
28 [m]These were the removings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they marched.
29 After, Moses said unto [n]Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We go into the place, of which the Lord said, I will give it you. Come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the Lord hath promised good unto Israel.
30 And he answered him, I will not go: but I will depart to mine own country, and to my kindred.
31 Then he said, I pray thee, leave us not: for thou knowest our camping places in the wilderness: therefore thou mayest be [o]our guide.
32 And if thou go with us, what goodness the Lord shall show unto us, the same will we show unto thee.
33 ¶ So they departed from the [p]mount of the Lord, three days’ journey: and the Ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them in the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
34 And the cloud of the Lord was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
35 And when the Ark went forward, Moses said, (D)[q]Rise up Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee, flee before thee.
36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O Lord, to the [r]many thousands of Israel.

10 耶和華對摩西說： 2 “你要用銀子作兩枝號，要錘出來的，可以用來召集會眾，也可以叫會眾拔營起行。 3 吹號的時候，全體會眾都要到你那裡，聚集在會幕的門口。 4 如果單吹一枝，眾領袖，就是以色列的族長，都要到你那裡聚集。 5 你們吹大聲的時候，那在東邊的營，都要起行。 6 你們第二次吹大聲的時候，那在南邊的營，都要起行；他們要起行，必須吹大聲。 7 但召集會眾的時候，你們要吹號，卻不要吹大聲。 8 亞倫的子孫作祭司的要作吹號的；這要作你們世世代代永遠的條例。 9 你們在本地與欺壓你們的仇敵作戰的時候，就要吹大聲，使你們在耶和華你們的 神面前得蒙記念，也得拯救脫離你們的仇敵。 10 此外，在你們快樂的日子和指定的節期，以及月朔，你們獻燔祭和平安祭的時候，也要吹號，這都要在你們的 神面前替你們作為記念；我是耶和華你們的 神。”
由西奈起程之次序
11 第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法櫃的帳幕收上去的時候， 12 以色列人就從西奈曠野按站起行；雲彩在巴蘭曠野停住了。 13 這是他們第一次照著耶和華藉摩西吩咐他們的起程。 14 猶大營的旗號，按著他們的隊伍，首先起行；統領隊伍的，是亞米拿達的兒子拿順。 15 統領以薩迦支派隊伍的，是蘇押的兒子拿坦業。 16 統領西布倫支派隊伍的，是希倫的兒子以利押。
17 帳幕拆下來以後，革順的子孫和米拉利的子孫，就抬著帳幕起行。 18 流本營的旗號，按著他們的隊伍起行；統領隊伍的，是示丟珥的兒子以利蓿。 19 統領西緬支派的，是蘇利沙代的兒子示路蔑。 20 統領迦得支派隊伍的，是丟珥的兒子以利雅薩。

29 摩西對自己的岳父米甸人流珥的兒子何巴說：“我們要起行到耶和華應許的地方去，他曾說：‘我要把那地賜給你們’，現在求你與我們同去，我們必善待你，因為耶和華對以色列已經應許福樂。” 30 何巴對摩西說：“我不去，我要歸回我本地本族那裡去。” 31 摩西說：“求你不要離開我們，因為你知道我們應怎樣在曠野安營，你可以作我們的眼目。 32 如果你與我們同去，將來耶和華用甚麼好處待我們，我們也必用甚麼好處待你。”
33 以色列人從耶和華的山起行，行了三天的路程，耶和華的約櫃在他們前面行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安息的地方。 34 他們拔營起行的時候，日間總有耶和華的雲彩在他們上頭。
35 約櫃起行的時候，摩西就說：
“耶和華啊，求你起來，

36 約櫃停住的時候，他就說：
