Matthew 15:4

New International Version

⁴For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’^[a]^(A) and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’^[b]^(B)

Matthew 15:4

King James Version

⁴For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

⁶they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

⁶And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

¹⁰They honored us^(A) in many ways; and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed.

¹⁰Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.
