Miqueas 7
El príncipe pide, y también el juez, una recompensa;
tu castigo llegará(I).
¡Entonces será su confusión(J)!
5 No os fiéis del vecino,
ni confiéis en el amigo(K).
De la que reposa en tu seno,
guarda tus labios[e].
y la nuera contra su suegra(L);
esperaré en el Dios de mi salvación(O);
mi Dios me oirá(P).
8 No te alegres(Q) de mí, enemiga mía(R).
Aunque caiga, me levantaré(S),
Mis ojos la contemplarán;
entonces[g] será pisoteada[h]
como el lodo de las calles(Y).
11 Viene el día para la edificación de tus muros(Z);
desde Asiria y las ciudades de Egipto(AA);
de todo su poderío;
y temerán delante de ti(AN).
hollará nuestras iniquidades(AS).
Sí, arrojarás a las profundidades del mar
todos nuestros[q] pecados(AT).
20 Otorgarás a Jacob la verdad[r]
y a Abraham(AU) la misericordia,
las cuales juraste a nuestros padres(AV)
desde los días de antaño.

Jubilee Bible 2000
7 ¶ Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.
2 The merciful man of the earth is missing: and there is no one upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt each man his brother with a net.
3 To complete the evil with their hands, the prince demands, and the judge judges for a reward; and the great man speaks the desires of his heart: and they confirm it.
4 The best of them is as a brier; the most upright as a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen, thy visitation, comes; now shall be their confusion.
5 Do not believe in a friend, do not trust in a prince; from her that lies at thy side, take care, open not thy mouth.
6 For the son dishonours the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies are those of his own house.
7 ¶ Therefore I will wait for the LORD; I will wait for the God of my saving health; my God will hear me.
8 Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy; for if I have fallen, I shall arise; if I sit in darkness, the LORD is my light.
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against him, until he has judged my cause and executed my judgment; he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
10 Then she that is my enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? my eyes shall behold her: now she shall be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
11 In the day that thy walls shall be built unto thee, in that day shall the decree of thy slavery be far removed.
12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria and from the fortified cities and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
13 And the land with those that dwell therein shall be made desolate, for the fruit of their doings.
14 ¶ Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell only in the mountain, in the midst of Carmel; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the time of old.
15 I will show you marvellous things as in the day when thou came out of Egypt.
16 The Gentiles shall see and be ashamed at all thy mighty acts: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall become deaf.
17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; as the serpents of the earth, they shall tremble in their holes; they shall be filled with fear of the LORD our God and shall also fear thee.
18 Who is a God like unto thee that pardons iniquity, and passes over the rebellion with the remnant of his heritage? He did not retain his anger for ever because he delights in mercy.
19 He will turn again, he will have mercy on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.
20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the times of old.

Haitian Creole Version
7 ¶ Ala malè pou mwen, mezanmi! Mwen tankou yon moun ki grangou nan mitan sezon rekòt epi ki pa jwenn yon ti fwi sou pyebwa, ni yon ti grenn rezen pou m' mete nan bouch mwen. Tout rezen fin keyi. Tout bon fig frans fin tonbe.
2 Pa rete moun serye nan peyi a ankò. Pa gen moun k'ap sèvi Bondye ak tout kè yo. Tout moun ap tann chans pa yo pou mete men yo nan san. Moun ap mache mete pèlen yonn pou lòt.
3 Yo tout pase mèt nan fè sa ki mal ak de men yo. Chèf yo ap fè egzijans. Jij yo ap mande lajan anba pou regle zafè pou moun.
Pitit fi ap kenbe tèt ak manman yo. Bèlfi ap fè kont ak bèlmè yo. Pi gwo lènmi ou se va pwòp moun k'ap viv nan kò kay ou.
7 ¶ Men, se Seyè a ki tout mwen. Avèk konfyans, m'ap tann Bondye k'ap vin pou delivre m' lan. Wi, Bondye mwen an ap tande m'!
8 Nou menm ki pa vle wè lavil Jerizalèm, nou pa bezwen kontan wè malè rive nou, nou menm moun lavil Jerizalèm. Nou tonbe, n'a leve ankò! Nou te mèt chita nan fènwa koulye a, Seyè a va yon limyè pou nou.
9 Se pou nou sipòte kòlè Seyè a paske nou fè peche kont Seyè a. Men bout pou bout, l'a pran defans nou, l'a rann nou jistis. L'ap mennen nou deyò nan limyè a ankò, n'a viv pou nou wè jistis Bondye.
10 Lè sa a, lènmi nou yo va wè sa, y'a wont, yo menm ki te konn ap mande nou: O wi! Kote Seyè a, Bondye nou an! N'a wè ak je nou jan lènmi nou yo ap fini. Y'a foule yo anba pye, y'a meprize yo tankou labou nan lari.
11 Nou menm, moun lavil Jerizalèm, jou pou nou rebati miray lavil la prèt pou rive. Lè sa a, y'a agrandi peyi a.
12 Wi, lè sa a, moun nou yo va tounen soti toupatou vin jwenn nou. Y'a soti nan peyi Lasiri bò solèy leve, y'a soti Lejip nan sid, y'a soti lòt bò larivyè Lefrat, y'a soti byen lwen lòt bò lanmè ak lòt bò mòn yo.
13 Men, tè a ap tounen dezè akòz mechanste moun k'ap viv sou li yo.
14 ¶ Seyè! Aji ak pèp ou te chwazi pou ou a tankou yon bon gadò k'ap pran swen mouton l' yo. Koulye a, pèp ou a rete pou kont li nan yon rakbwa ki antoure ak bon tè. Kite y' al manje nan bèl jaden peyi Bazan ak peyi Galarad jan yo te konn fè l' nan tan lontan an!
15 Seyè! Fè mèvèy pou nou jan ou te fè l' lè ou te fè nou soti kite peyi Lejip la!
16 Moun lòt nasyon yo va wè sa, y'a wont malgre tout fòs yo genyen. Y'a mete men nan bouch. Y'a sezi,
17 y'a trennen kò yo atè nan pousyè tankou koulèv. Y'a mache tankou bèt k'ap trennen sou vant! Y'a pè, y'a kouri soti nan fò yo. Y'a tranble devan Bondye, y'a tounen vin jwenn li. Y'a tranble tankou fèy bwa akòz Seyè a.
19 Wi, w'a gen pitye pou nou ankò. W'a pran peche nou yo mete anba pye ou. W'a voye yo jete nan fon lanmè!
20 W'a moutre pitit Jakòb yo jan ou toujou kenbe pawòl ou. W'a moutre pitit Abraram yo jan ou p'ap janm sispann renmen yo, jan ou te sèmante l' bay zansèt nou yo nan tan lontan!

Israel’s Misery
7 What misery is mine!
I am like one who gathers summer fruit
at the gleaning of the vineyard;
there is no cluster of grapes to eat,
none of the early figs(A) that I crave.
2 The faithful have been swept from the land;(B)
not one(C) upright person remains.
Everyone lies in wait(D) to shed blood;(E)
they hunt each other(F) with nets.(G)
3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil;(H)
the ruler demands gifts,
the judge accepts bribes,(I)
the powerful dictate what they desire—
they all conspire together.
4 The best of them is like a brier,(J)
the most upright worse than a thorn(K) hedge.
The day God visits you has come,
the day your watchmen sound the alarm.
Now is the time of your confusion.(L)
5 Do not trust a neighbor;
put no confidence in a friend.(M)
Even with the woman who lies in your embrace
guard the words of your lips.
6 For a son dishonors his father,
a daughter rises up against her mother,(N)
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.(O)
7 But as for me, I watch(P) in hope(Q) for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear(R) me.
Israel Will Rise
8 Do not gloat over me,(S) my enemy!
Though I have fallen, I will rise.(T)
Though I sit in darkness,
the Lord will be my light.(U)
9 Because I have sinned against him,
I will bear the Lord’s wrath,(V)
until he pleads my case(W)
and upholds my cause.
He will bring me out into the light;(X)
I will see his righteousness.(Y)
10 Then my enemy will see it
and will be covered with shame,(Z)
she who said to me,
“Where is the Lord your God?”(AA)
My eyes will see her downfall;(AB)
even now she will be trampled(AC) underfoot
like mire in the streets.
11 The day for building your walls(AD) will come,
the day for extending your boundaries.
12 In that day people will come to you
from Assyria(AE) and the cities of Egypt,
even from Egypt to the Euphrates
and from sea to sea
and from mountain to mountain.(AF)
13 The earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants,
as the result of their deeds.(AG)
Prayer and Praise
14 Shepherd(AH) your people with your staff,(AI)
the flock of your inheritance,
which lives by itself in a forest,
in fertile pasturelands.[a](AJ)
Let them feed in Bashan(AK) and Gilead(AL)
as in days long ago.(AM)
15 “As in the days when you came out of Egypt,
I will show them my wonders.(AN)”
16 Nations will see and be ashamed,(AO)
deprived of all their power.
They will put their hands over their mouths(AP)
and their ears will become deaf.
17 They will lick dust(AQ) like a snake,
like creatures that crawl on the ground.
They will come trembling(AR) out of their dens;
they will turn in fear(AS) to the Lord our God
and will be afraid of you.
18 Who is a God(AT) like you,
who pardons sin(AU) and forgives(AV) the transgression
of the remnant(AW) of his inheritance?(AX)
You do not stay angry(AY) forever
but delight to show mercy.(AZ)
19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities(BA) into the depths of the sea.(BB)
20 You will be faithful to Jacob,
and show love to Abraham,(BC)
as you pledged on oath to our ancestors(BD)
in days long ago.(BE)

King James Version
7 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.
2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
