16 You follow Omri’s edicts[a]
and all the practices of Ahab’s dynasty;[b]
you follow their policies.[c]
Therefore I will make you an appalling sight;[d]
the city’s[e] inhabitants will be taunted derisively,[f]
and nations will mock all of you.”[g]
