¹⁶ Nations will see and be ashamed,^(A)
    deprived of all their power.
They will put their hands over their mouths^(B)
    and their ears will become deaf.

¹¹ Lord, your hand is lifted high,^(A)
    but they do not see^(B) it.
Let them see your zeal^(C) for your people and be put to shame;^(D)
    let the fire^(E) reserved for your enemies consume them.

⁴ “I am unworthy^(A)—how can I reply to you?
    I put my hand over my mouth.^(B)

⁹ the chief men refrained from speaking^(A)
    and covered their mouths with their hands;^(B)
10 the voices of the nobles were hushed,^(C)
    and their tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths.^(D)

¹⁸ The nations were angry,^(A)
    and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,^(B)
    and for rewarding your servants the prophets^(C)
and your people who revere your name,
    both great and small^(D)—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
