¹⁰ There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter ^(A)pass^[a] through the fire, ^(B)or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, ^11 (C)or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or ^(D)one who calls up the dead. ¹² For all who do these things are ^[b]an abomination to the Lord, and ^(E)because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.

^15 [a]But ^(A)outside are ^(B)dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

¹⁹ And when they say to you, ^(A)“Seek those who are mediums and wizards, ^(B)who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they ^(C)seek the dead on behalf of the living? ^20 (D)To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because ^(E)there^[a] is no light in them.

^20 (A)Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and ^(B)those who worshiped his image. ^(C)These two were cast alive into the lake of fire ^(D)burning with brimstone.

² “It shall be in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will ^(A)cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause ^(B)the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land. ³ It shall come to pass that if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who begot him will say to him, ‘You shall ^(C)not live, because you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who begot him ^(D)shall thrust him through when he prophesies.

⁴ “And it shall be in that day that ^(E)every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; they will not wear ^(F)a robe of coarse hair to deceive.
