17 Nalalaman(A) ninyo na pagkatapos, nang nais niyang magmana ng pagpapala, siya'y itinakuwil sapagkat wala na siyang natagpuang pagkakataon upang magsisi, bagama't pinagsikapan niya iyon na may pagluha.
18 Sapagkat(B) hindi pa kayo lumapit sa bundok na nahihipo, sa apoy na nagliliyab, sa kadiliman, sa kapanglawan, at sa unos,
19 sa tunog ng trumpeta, at sa tunog ng mga salita na ang nakarinig ay nakiusap na huwag nang magsalita pa sa kanila ng anuman.

17 Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears,(A) he could not change what he had done.

18 You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm;(B) 19 to a trumpet blast(C) or to such a voice speaking words(D) that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them,(E)
