Numbers 31:28-30

²⁸And levy for the Lord a tribute from the men of war who went out to battle, ^(A)one out of five hundred, of the people and of the oxen and of the donkeys and of the flocks. ²⁹Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as a contribution to the Lord. ³⁰And from the people of Israel's half you shall take ^(B)one drawn out of every fifty, of the people, of the oxen, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the cattle, and give them to the Levites ^(C)who keep guard over the tabernacle of the Lord.”

²⁸Also, ^(A)collect a tribute tax for the Lord from the men of war who went to battle, one ^[a]in five hundred of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the sheep; ²⁹take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest, as an ^[b]offering to the Lord. ³⁰And from the sons of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn from every fifty of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the sheep, from all the animals; and give them to the Levites who ^(B)perform the duty of the tabernacle of the Lord.”

²⁸From the soldiers who fought in the battle, set apart as tribute for the Lord^(A) one out of every five hundred, whether people, cattle, donkeys or sheep. ²⁹Take this tribute from their half share and give it to Eleazar the priest as the Lord’s part. ³⁰From the Israelites’ half, select one out of every fifty, whether people, cattle, donkeys, sheep or other animals. Give them to the Levites, who are responsible for the care of the Lord’s tabernacle.^(B)”
