Awit ni Asaf.
82 Ang Diyos ang namumuno ng pulong sa kalangitan,
sa pulong ng mga diyos, ganito ang kapasyahan:
2 “Dapat ninyong itigil na, paghatol na hindi tama,
tumigil na ng paghatol na panig sa masasama. (Selah)[a]
3 Bigyan ninyong katarungan ang mahina at ulila,
at huwag ninyong aapihin ang mahirap at may dusa.
4 Ang marapat na tulunga'y ang mahina at mahirap, sa kamay ng masasama sila'y dapat na iligtas!
5 “Anong pagkamangmang ninyo, wala kayong nalalaman!
Sa gitna ng kadilima'y doon kayo nananahan,
sa ibabaw ng daigdig ay wala nang katarungan.
6 Ang(A) sabi ko, kayo'y diyos, anak ng Kataas-taasan,
7 ngunit tulad nitong tao, lahat kayo'y mamamatay;
katulad din ng prinsipe, papanaw ang inyong buhay.”
8 O Diyos, ikaw ay magbangon at daigdig pagharian,
ang lahat ng mga bansa ay hawak ng iyong kamay!

Psalm 82
A psalm of Asaph.
2 “How long will you[a] defend the unjust
and show partiality(C) to the wicked?[b](D)
3 Defend the weak and the fatherless;(E)
uphold the cause of the poor(F) and the oppressed.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
5 “The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing.(G)
They walk about in darkness;(H)
all the foundations(I) of the earth are shaken.

God Commands Justice
A psalm of Asaph.[a]
82 God stands in the divine assembly;[b]
he administers judgment in the midst of the gods.[c]
2 “How long will you judge unjustly
and show favoritism to the wicked?[d] Selah
3 Judge on behalf of the helpless and the orphan;
provide justice to the afflicted and the poor.
4 Rescue the helpless and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5 They do not know or consider.[e]
They go about in the darkness,
so that all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 I have said,[f] “You are gods,
and sons of the Most High, all of you.
7 However, you will die like men,[g]
and you will fall like one of the princes.”
8 Rise up, O God, judge the earth,
because you shall inherit[h] all the nations.
