Diyos ang Magtatagumpay
Awit na katha ni Asaf upang awitin ng Punong Mang-aawit: sa saliw ng mga instrumentong may kuwerdas.
76 Tunay na si Yahweh'y kilala sa Juda,
sa buong Israel, dakilang talaga;
2 nasa Jerusalem ang tahanan niya,
sa Bundok ng Zion, doon tumitira.
3 Lahat ng sandata ng mga kaaway,
mga pana't sundang, baluting sanggalang, doon niya sinirang walang pakundangan. (Selah)[a]
4 O Diyos, dakila ka, ikaw ay maringal
higit pa sa matatag na kabundukan.[b]
5 Walang magawâ, matatapang na kawal, binawi ng Diyos ang taglay na samsam;
nahihimbing sila at nakahandusay,
mga lakas nila, lahat ay pumanaw.
6 Nang ika'y magalit, O Diyos ni Jacob,
sakay at kabayo'y pawang nangalugmok.
7 Ikaw, O Yahweh, kinatatakutan!
Sino ang tatayo sa iyong harapan
kapag nagalit ka sa mga kinapal?
8 Sa iyong paghatol na mula sa langit,
ang lahat sa mundo'y takot at tahimik.
9 Nang ika'y tumayo't gawin ang paglitis,
naligtas ang mga api sa daigdig. (Selah)[c]
10 Ang matinding galit sa iyo ng tao, hahantong na lahat sa pagpuri sa iyo.
Silang nangaligtas sa mga labanan, laging magpupuri at mangagdiriwang.
11 Mga pangako mo kay Yahweh, iyong Diyos, ay iyong tuparin nang tapat sa loob;
dapat na magdala ng mga kaloob ang lahat ng bansa sa iyong palibot.
12 Hambog na prinsipe ay ibinababâ,
tinatakot niya hari mang dakila.

Dieu est vainqueur
76 Au chef de chœur. Un psaume d’Asaph[a]. A chanter avec accompagnement d’instruments à cordes.
2 Dieu s’est fait connaître en Juda,
son nom est grand en Israël.
3 Sa résidence est à Salem[b],
et sa demeure est en Sion.
4 C’est là qu’il a brisé ╵les flèches fulgurantes,
les boucliers, les glaives, ╵toutes armes de guerre.

5 Tu es resplendissant, ╵plus éclatant
que les monts éternels[c].
6 Tous les vaillants guerriers ╵ont été dépouillés,
ils se sont endormis ╵de leur dernier sommeil.
Tous ces valeureux hommes ╵n’ont pas su retrouver ╵la vigueur de leurs mains.
7 Dieu de Jacob, à ta menace
les chars et les chevaux ╵se sont figés sur place.
8 Que tu es redoutable !
Qui tiendrait devant toi ╵quand ta colère éclate ?
9 Du ciel, tu fais entendre ton verdict,
et la terre, effrayée, ╵se tient dans le silence
10 quand toi, ô Dieu, tu interviens ╵pour exercer le jugement
et pour apporter le salut ╵à tous les humbles de la terre.

11 Car même la fureur des hommes ╵tournera à ta gloire
et tu t’attacheras ╵les rescapés de ta colère[d].
12 Vous tous qui entourez ╵l’Eternel votre Dieu,
faites des vœux ╵et accomplissez-les !
Apportez vos présents ╵à ce Dieu redoutable.
13 Il brise l’esprit résolu des princes,
il se rend redoutable ╵pour les rois de la terre.

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph. A song.
1 God is renowned in Judah;
in Israel his name is great.(A)
2 His tent is in Salem,(B)
his dwelling place in Zion.(C)
3 There he broke the flashing arrows,(D)
the shields and the swords, the weapons of war.[b](E)
4 You are radiant with light,(F)
more majestic than mountains rich with game.
5 The valiant(G) lie plundered,
they sleep their last sleep;(H)
not one of the warriors
can lift his hands.
6 At your rebuke,(I) God of Jacob,
both horse and chariot(J) lie still.
7 It is you alone who are to be feared.(K)
Who can stand(L) before you when you are angry?(M)
8 From heaven you pronounced judgment,
and the land feared(N) and was quiet—
9 when you, God, rose up to judge,(O)
to save all the afflicted(P) of the land.
10 Surely your wrath against mankind brings you praise,(Q)
and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.[c]
