Awit ni David. Awit sa Pagtatalaga ng Templo.
30 Dadakilain kita, O Panginoon, sapagkat ako'y iyong iniahon,
at hindi hinayaang ako'y pagtawanan, ng aking mga kaaway.
2 O Panginoon kong Diyos, humingi ako sa iyo ng saklolo,
at ako ay pinagaling mo.
3 O Panginoon, kaluluwa ko'y iniahon mula sa Sheol,
iyong iningatan akong buháy upang huwag akong bumaba sa Hukay.
4 Magsiawit kayo ng papuri sa Panginoon, kayong kanyang mga banal,
at magpasalamat kayo sa kanyang banal na pangalan.
5 Sapagkat ang kanyang galit ay sandali lamang,
at ang kanyang paglingap ay panghabang buhay.
Maaaring magtagal nang magdamag ang pag-iyak,
ngunit sa kinaumagahan ay dumarating ang galak.
6 Tungkol sa akin, sinabi ko sa panahon ng aking kasaganaan,
“Hindi ako matitinag kailanman.”
7 Sa pamamagitan ng iyong paglingap, O Panginoon,
ginawa mong matibay ang aking bundok;
ikinubli mo ang iyong mukha, ako ay natakot.
8 Ako'y dumaing sa iyo, O Panginoon;
at sa Panginoon ay nanawagan ako:
9 “Anong pakinabang mayroon sa aking dugo,
kung ako'y bumaba sa Hukay?
Pupurihin ka ba ng alabok?
Isasaysay ba nito ang iyong katapatan?
10 O Panginoon, sa aki'y maawa ka, pakinggan mo ako!
Panginoon, nawa'y tulungan mo ako.”
11 Iyong ginawang sayaw para sa akin ang pagtangis ko;
hinubad mo ang aking damit-sako,
at binigkisan mo ako ng kagalakan,
12 upang luwalhatiin ka ng aking kaluluwa at huwag manahimik.
O Panginoon kong Diyos, ako'y magpapasalamat sa iyo magpakailanman.

A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple.[b] Of David.
1 I will exalt(A) you, Lord,
for you lifted me out of the depths(B)
and did not let my enemies gloat over me.(C)
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,(D)
and you healed me.(E)
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;(F)
you spared me from going down to the pit.(G)
4 Sing(H) the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;(I)
praise his holy name.(J)
5 For his anger(K) lasts only a moment,(L)
but his favor lasts a lifetime;(M)
weeping(N) may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.(O)
6 When I felt secure, I said,
“I will never be shaken.”(P)
7 Lord, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain[c] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,(Q)
I was dismayed.

30 I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
7 Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
