48 He delivers me from my enemies.
(A)You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.
49 (B)Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the [a]Gentiles,
And sing praises to Your name.
50 (C)Great deliverance He gives to His king,
And shows mercy to His anointed,
To David and his [b]descendants forevermore.

49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
