145 Ang kadakilaan ng Diyos ko at Hari, aking ihahayag,
    di ko titigilan magpakailanman ang magpasalamat,
aking pupurihi't pasasalamatan siya araw-araw,
    di ako titigil ng pasasalamat magpakailanman.
Dakila ka, Yahweh, at karapat-dapat na ika'y purihin;
    kadakilaan mo'y tunay na mahirap naming unawain.

Sa alinmang lahi, ang iyong ginawa ay papupurihan,
    ihahayag nila ang mga gawa mong makapangyarihan.
Ang karangalan mo at pagkadakila'y ipamamalita,
    at isasaysay ko ang mga gawa mo na kahanga-hanga.
Ang mga gawa mong makapangyariha'y ipamamalita;
    sa lahat ng tao'y aking sasabihing ikaw ay dakila.
Ihahayag nila ang lahat ng iyong mga kabutihan,
    aawitin nila nang may kagalakan ang iyong katuwiran.
Si Yahweh'y mapagmahal at punô ng habag,
    hindi madaling magalit, ang pag-ibig ay wagas.
Siya ay mabuti at kahit kanino'y hindi nagtatangi;
    sa kanyang nilikha, pagkalinga niya ay mamamalagi.

10 Magpupuring lahat sa iyo, O Yahweh, ang iyong nilalang;
    lahat mong nilikha ay pupurihin ka't pasasalamatan.
11 Babanggitin nilang tunay na dakila ang iyong kaharian,
    at ibabalitang tunay kang dakila't makapangyarihan.
12 Dakila mong gawa'y upang matalastas ng lahat ng tao,
    mababatid nila ang kadakilaan ng paghahari mo.
13 Ang paghahari mo'y sadyang walang hanggan,
    hindi magbabago.

Di ka bibiguin sa bawat pangako pagkat ang Diyos ay tapat,
    ang kanyang ginawa kahit ano ito ay mabuting lahat.
14 Siya'y tumutulong sa lahat ng tao na may suliranin;
    at sa pagkalugmok, sa panghihina ay kanyang hahanguin.

15 Lahat ng mga buháy ay tanging si Yahweh ang inaasahan,
    siyang nagdudulot ng pagkain nilang kinakailangan.
16 Binibigyan sila nang sapat na sapat, hindi nagkukulang;
    anupa't ang lahat ay may tinatanggap na ikabubuhay.
17 Matuwid si Yahweh sa lahat ng bagay niyang ginagawa;
    kahit anong gawin ay kalakip ang masagana niyang awa.
18 Siya'y nakikinig at handang tumulong sa lahat ng tao,
    sa sinumang taong pagtawag sa kanya'y tapat at totoo.
19 Bawat kailangan ng taong tapat at may takot sa kanya,
    kanyang tinutugon, at kung nagigipit hinahango sila.
20 Yaong umiibig sa kanya ng lubos ay iniingatan;
    ngunit ang masama'y wawasakin niya't walang mabubuhay.

21 Aking pupurihin ang Diyos na si Yahweh, habang nabubuhay,
    sa ngalan niyang banal, lahat ay magpuri magpakailanman!

Praise to God the King

145 I ·praise your greatness [exalt you], my God the King;
    I will ·praise [bless] ·you [L your name] forever and ever.
I will ·praise [bless] you every day;
    I will praise ·you [L your name] forever and ever.
The Lord is great and ·worthy of our praise [greatly to be praised; 48:1];
    ·no one can understand how great he is [L there is no searching out/limit to his greatness].

·Parents [L A generation] will ·tell their children [L praise to a generation] what you have done.
    They will ·retell [proclaim] your mighty acts,
·wonderful majesty, and glory [L and the majestic glory of your splendor; C God’s manifest presence].
    And I will ·think about [meditate on] your ·miracles [wonderful works].
They will tell about the ·amazing things you do [L might of your awesomeness],
    and I will ·tell [recount] how great you are.
They will ·remember [bubble forth with] ·your great goodness [L the remembrance of your goodness]
    and will sing about your ·fairness [righteousness].

The Lord is ·kind [gracious] and ·shows mercy [compassionate].
    He ·does not become angry quickly [is slow to anger] but ·is full of love [has great loyalty].
The Lord is good to everyone;
    he is ·merciful [compassionate] to all he has made [86:15; 103:8; Ex. 34:6–7; Neh. 9:17, 31; Joel 2:13; Jon. 4:2].
10 Lord, everything you have made will ·praise [bless] you;
    ·those who belong to you [your saints/loyal ones] will bless you.
11 They will tell about the glory of your kingdom
    and will speak about your ·power [strength].
12 Then everyone will know the mighty things you do
    and the glory and ·majesty [splendor] of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom ·will go on and on [L is an eternal kingdom],
    and you will rule ·forever [L from generation to generation; Dan. 4:3].

The Lord ·will keep all his promises [L is faithful/true in all his words];
    he is loyal to all he has made.[a]
14 The Lord ·helps [supports] those who have ·been defeated [L fallen]
    and ·takes care of [L lifts up] those who are ·in trouble [bowed down].
15 ·All living things look to you for food [L The eyes of all look to you],
    and you give ·it [L their food] to them at the right time.
16 You open your hand,
    and you satisfy the desire of all living things [Matt. 6:25–27].

17 ·Everything the Lord does is right [L The Lord is righteous in all his ways].
    He is loyal ·to all he has made [or in all his deeds].
18 The Lord is ·close [near] to everyone who ·prays to [calls on] him,
    to all who ·truly pray to him [call on him in truth/faithfulness].
19 He ·gives those who respect him what they want [L accomplishes the desire of all who fear him; Prov. 1:7].
    He listens when they cry, and he ·saves them [gives them victory].
20 The Lord ·protects [guards; keeps] everyone who loves him,
    but he will destroy the wicked.

21 ·I will praise [L My mouth will speak the praise of] the Lord.
Let ·everyone [L all flesh] ·praise [bless] his holy name forever.

A psalm of praise. Of David.

I will exalt you,(A) my God the King;(B)
    I will praise your name(C) for ever and ever.
Every day I will praise(D) you
    and extol your name(E) for ever and ever.

Great(F) is the Lord and most worthy of praise;(G)
    his greatness no one can fathom.(H)
One generation(I) commends your works to another;
    they tell(J) of your mighty acts.(K)
They speak of the glorious splendor(L) of your majesty—
    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[b](M)
They tell(N) of the power of your awesome works—(O)

The Lord is gracious and compassionate,(U)

15 The eyes of all look to you,
    and you give them their food(AL) at the proper time.
16 You open your hand

17 The Lord is righteous(AN) in all his ways
    and faithful in all he does.(AO)
18 The Lord is near(AP) to all who call on him,(AQ)
    to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires(AR) of those who fear him;(AS)
    he hears their cry(AT) and saves them.(AU)
20 The Lord watches over(AV) all who love him,(AW)
    but all the wicked he will destroy.(AX)

21 My mouth will speak(AY) in praise of the Lord.
    Let every creature(AZ) praise his holy name(BA)
