Panalangin sa Gabi
Awit ni David.
141 Sa iyo, O Yahweh, ako'y dumadalangin
sa aking pagtawag, ako sana'y dinggin.
2 Ang(A) aking dalangin sana'y tanggapin mo, masarap na samyong handog na insenso;
itong pagtaas ng mga kamay ko.
3 O Yahweh, bibig ko ay iyong bantayan,
ang mga labi ko'y lagyan mo ng bantay.
4 Huwag mong babayaang ako ay matukso,
sa gawang masama ay magumon ako;
ako ay ilayo, iiwas sa gulo,
sa handaan nila'y nang di makasalo.
5 Pagkat may pag-ibig, ang mabuting tao puwedeng magparusa't pagwikaan ako,
ngunit ang masama ay hindi ko ibig na ang aking ulo'y buhusan niya ng langis;
pagkat ang dalangin at lagi kong hibik, ay laban sa gawa niyang malulupit.
6 Kung sila'y bumagsak tuloy na hatulan,
maniniwala na ang mga nilalang na ang salita ko ay katotohanan.
7 Tulad ng panggatong na pira-piraso,
sa pinaglibinga'y kakalat ang buto.
8 Di ako hihinto sa aking pananalig,
ang pag-iingat mo'y aking ninanais,
huwag mong itutulot, buhay ko'y mapatid.
9 Sa mga patibong ng masamang tao,
ilayo mong lubos, ingatan mo ako.
10 Iyong pabayaang sila ang mahulog,
samantalang ako'y ligtas mong kinupkop.

141 Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

141 1 David being grievously persecuted under Saul, only fleeth unto God to have succor. 3 Desiring him to bridle his affections, that he may patiently abide till God take vengeance of his enemies.
A Psalm of David.
1 O Lord, I [a]call upon thee: haste thee unto me: hear my voice, when I cry unto thee.
2 Let my prayer be directed in thy sight as incense, and the [b]lifting up of mine hands as an evening sacrifice.
3 Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth, and keep the [c]door of my lips.
4 Incline not mine heart to evil, that I should commit wicked works with them that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their [d]delicates.
5 Let the righteous smite me: for that is a benefit: and let [e]him reprove me, and it shall be a precious oil that shall not break mine head: for within a while I shall even [f]pray in their miseries.
6 When their judges shall be cast down in stony places, they shall [g]hear my words, for they are sweet.
7 Our bones lie scattered at the [h]grave’s mouth, as he that heweth wood or diggeth in the earth.
8 But mine eyes look unto thee, O Lord God: in thee is my trust: leave not my soul destitute.
9 Keep me from the snare, which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
10 Let the wicked fall into [i]his nets [j]together, while I escape.

- Psalm 141:1 He showeth that there is none other refuge in our necessities, but only to flee unto God for comfort of soul.
- Psalm 141:2 He meaneth his earnest zeal and gesture, which he used in prayer: alluding of the sacrifices which were by God’s commandment offered in the old Law.
- Psalm 141:3 He desireth God to keep his thoughts and ways either from thinking or executing vengeance.
- Psalm 141:4 Let not their prosperity allure me to be wicked as they are.

141 Lord, I cry out to You;
Make haste to me!
Give ear to my voice when I cry out to You.
2 Let my prayer be set before You (A)as incense,
(B)The lifting up of my hands as (C)the evening sacrifice.
3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my (D)mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,
To practice wicked works
With men who work iniquity;
(E)And do not let me eat of their delicacies.
5 (F)Let the righteous strike me;
It shall be a kindness.
And let him rebuke me;
It shall be as excellent oil;
Let my head not refuse it.
For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.
6 Their judges are overthrown by the sides of the [a]cliff,
And they hear my words, for they are sweet.
7 Our bones are scattered at the mouth of the grave,
As when one plows and breaks up the earth.
8 But (G)my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord;
In You I take refuge;
[b]Do not leave my soul destitute.

And from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
