O Yahweh, bibig ko ay iyong bantayan,
    ang mga labi ko'y lagyan mo ng bantay.
Huwag mong babayaang ako ay matukso,
    sa gawang masama ay magumon ako;
ako ay ilayo, iiwas sa gulo,
    sa handaan nila'y nang di makasalo.

Pagkat may pag-ibig, ang mabuting tao puwedeng magparusa't pagwikaan ako,
    ngunit ang masama ay hindi ko ibig na ang aking ulo'y buhusan niya ng langis;
    pagkat ang dalangin at lagi kong hibik, ay laban sa gawa niyang malulupit.

Set a guard, O Lord, over my (A)mouth;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Do not incline my heart to any evil thing,
To practice wicked works
With men who work iniquity;
(B)And do not let me eat of their delicacies.

(C)Let the righteous strike me;
It shall be a kindness.
And let him rebuke me;
It shall be as excellent oil;
Let my head not refuse it.

For still my prayer is against the deeds of the wicked.

    so that I take part in wicked deeds(D)
along with those who are evildoers;
    do not let me eat their delicacies.(E)

Let a righteous man strike me—that is a kindness;
    let him rebuke me(F)—that is oil on my head.(G)
My head will not refuse it,
    for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.
