135 Purihin ang Panginoon!
Purihin ang pangalan ng Panginoon,
magpuri kayo, mga lingkod ng Panginoon,
2 kayong nagsisitayo sa bahay ng Panginoon,
sa mga bulwagan ng bahay ng ating Diyos!
3 Purihin ang Panginoon, sapagkat ang Panginoon ay mabuti;
umawit sa kanyang pangalan, sapagkat ito'y kaibig-ibig.
4 Sapagkat pinili ng Panginoon si Jacob para sa kanyang sarili,
ang Israel bilang kanyang sariling pag-aari.
5 Sapagkat nalalaman ko na ang Panginoon ay dakila,
at ang ating Panginoon ay higit sa lahat ng mga diyos.
6 Ginagawa ng Panginoon anumang kanyang kinalulugdan,
sa langit at sa lupa,
sa mga dagat, at sa lahat ng mga kalaliman.
7 Siya ang nagpapataas ng mga ulap sa mga dulo ng daigdig,
na gumagawa ng mga kidlat para sa ulan
at inilalabas ang hangin mula sa kanyang mga kamalig.
8 Siya ang pumatay sa mga panganay sa Ehipto,
sa hayop at sa tao;
9 siya, O Ehipto, sa iyong kalagitnaan,
ay nagsugo ng mga tanda at mga kababalaghan
laban kay Faraon, at sa lahat niyang mga lingkod;
10 na siyang sa maraming bansa ay gumapi,
at pumatay sa mga makapangyarihang hari,
11 kay Sihon na hari ng mga Amorita,
at kay Og na hari sa Basan,
at sa lahat ng mga kaharian ng Canaan,
12 at ibinigay bilang pamana ang kanilang lupain,
isang pamana sa kanyang bayang Israel.
13 Ang iyong pangalan, O Panginoon, ay magpakailanman,
ang iyong alaala, O Panginoon, ay sa lahat ng salinlahi.
14 Sapagkat hahatulan ng Panginoon ang kanyang bayan,
at mga lingkod niya'y kanyang kahahabagan.
15 Ang(A) mga diyus-diyosan ng mga bansa ay pilak at ginto,
na gawa ng mga kamay ng mga tao.
16 Sila'y may mga bibig, ngunit hindi sila nagsasalita;
mayroon silang mga mata, ngunit hindi sila nakakakita;
17 sila'y may mga tainga, ngunit hindi sila nakakarinig;
ni mayroon mang hininga sa kanilang mga bibig.
18 Maging kagaya sila
ng mga gumawa sa kanila—
oo, ang bawat nagtitiwala sa kanila!
19 O sambahayan ni Israel, purihin ninyo ang Panginoon!
O sambahayan ni Aaron, purihin ninyo ang Panginoon!
20 O sambahayan ni Levi, purihin ninyo ang Panginoon!
Kayong natatakot sa Panginoon, purihin ninyo ang Panginoon!
21 Purihin ang Panginoon mula sa Zion,
siya na tumatahan sa Jerusalem.

1 Praise the Lord.[a]
Praise the name of the Lord;
praise him, you servants(B) of the Lord,
2 you who minister in the house(C) of the Lord,
in the courts(D) of the house of our God.
3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;(E)
sing praise to his name,(F) for that is pleasant.(G)
4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob(H) to be his own,
Israel to be his treasured possession.(I)
5 I know that the Lord is great,(J)
that our Lord is greater than all gods.(K)
6 The Lord does whatever pleases him,(L)
in the heavens and on the earth,(M)
in the seas and all their depths.
7 He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth;
he sends lightning with the rain(N)
and brings out the wind(O) from his storehouses.(P)
8 He struck down the firstborn(Q) of Egypt,
the firstborn of people and animals.
9 He sent his signs(R) and wonders into your midst, Egypt,
against Pharaoh and all his servants.(S)
10 He struck down many(T) nations
and killed mighty kings—
11 Sihon(U) king of the Amorites,(V)
Og king of Bashan,(W)
and all the kings of Canaan(X)—
12 and he gave their land as an inheritance,(Y)
an inheritance to his people Israel.
13 Your name, Lord, endures forever,(Z)
your renown,(AA) Lord, through all generations.
14 For the Lord will vindicate his people(AB)
and have compassion on his servants.(AC)
15 The idols of the nations(AD) are silver and gold,
made by human hands.(AE)
16 They have mouths, but cannot speak,(AF)
eyes, but cannot see.
17 They have ears, but cannot hear,
nor is there breath(AG) in their mouths.
18 Those who make them will be like them,
and so will all who trust in them.
19 All you Israelites, praise the Lord;(AH)
house of Aaron, praise the Lord;
20 house of Levi, praise the Lord;
you who fear him, praise the Lord.
21 Praise be to the Lord from Zion,(AI)
to him who dwells in Jerusalem.(AJ)

1 Praise the Eternal!
Praise and glorify the name of the One who always has been and always will be;
praise Him, servants of the Eternal!
2 Join in the chorus, all you who minister in the Eternal’s temple;
in the courts of our God’s temple,
3 Glorify the Eternal, for He is good!
Sing praises, and honor His name for it is delightful.
4 For the Eternal made His choice; He selected Jacob as His own;
He claimed Israel as His possession.
5 Now I know this: the Eternal is great; His power is unmatched.
Our Master is above any so-called god.
6 He does whatever He pleases,
in heaven, on earth,
in the seas, and in all the ocean depths.
7 He draws up the clouds that rise over the whole earth,
He causes rain and the lightning to strike,
and He summons the wind from His storehouses.
8 He took the lives of Egypt’s firstborn,
human and beast alike.
9 O Egypt, He worked wonders and signs before your eyes,
signs against Pharaoh and Pharaoh’s servants.
10 He destroyed nation after nation
and killed mighty kings:
11 Sihon, the Amorite king;
Og, the king of Bashan;
and even all the kingdoms of Canaan.
12 He conquered their land and gave it as an inheritance—
an inheritance for His people, Israel.
13 Eternal One, Your name is everlasting.
Your legacy, Eternal One, will be known through all the ages.
14 For the Eternal will judge His people,
He will show compassion to those who serve Him.
15 The nations have idols of silver and gold,
crafted by human hands!
16 They shaped mouths for them, but they cannot speak;
they carved eyes into them, but they cannot see;
17 They placed ears on them, but they cannot hear;
they cannot breathe, not even a puff of air from their mouths!
18 The artisans who made them
are just like them,
and so are all who mistakenly trust in them, no exceptions.
19 House of Israel, praise the Eternal;
house of Aaron, praise the Eternal;
20 House of Levi, praise the Eternal;
all those who revere the Eternal, praise Him!
21 Blessed be the Eternal from Zion,
the One who has made Jerusalem His home.

135 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.
2 Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
4 For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.
14 For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
