114 Nang(A) lumabas ang Israel at sa Ehipto ay nagmula,
ang sambahayan ni Jacob mula sa bayang may kakaibang wika,
2 ang Juda ay naging kanyang santuwaryo,
ang Israel ay kanyang sakop.
3 Ang(B) dagat ay tumingin at tumakas,
ang Jordan ay umatras.
4 Ang mga bundok ay nagsiluksong mga tupang lalaki ang kagaya,
ang mga burol na parang mga batang tupa.
5 Anong karamdaman mo, O dagat, upang tumakas ka?
O Jordan, upang umurong ka?
6 O mga bundok, na kayo'y nagsisiluksong mga tupang lalaki ang kagaya?
O mga burol, na parang mga batang tupa?
7 Mayanig ka, O lupa, sa harapan ng Panginoon,
sa harapan ng Diyos ni Jacob;
8 na(C) ginawang tipunan ng tubig ang malaking bato,
na bukal ng tubig ang hasaang bato.

Praise to God for His Works During the Exodus
114 When Israel went out from Egypt,
the house of Jacob from a people of a strange language,
2 Judah became his sanctuary,
Israel his dominion.
3 The sea looked and fled;
the Jordan turned back.
4 The mountains skipped like rams,
the hills like lambs.[a]
5 What’s with you, O sea, that you fled?
O Jordan, that you turned back?
6 O mountains, that you skipped like rams?
O hills, like lambs?
7 At the presence of the Lord writhe, O earth,[b]
at the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 who turned the rock into a pool of water,
flinty stone into a spring of water.

7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
