²²to instruct his princes^(A) as he pleased
and teach his elders wisdom.^(B)

²³Then Israel entered Egypt;^(C)
Jacob resided^(D) as a foreigner in the land of Ham.^(E)
²⁴The Lord made his people very fruitful;
