36 “ಆ ದಿನವು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆ ಸಮಯವು ಯಾವಾಗ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ಮಗನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವದೂತರಿಗೂ ಆ ದಿನವು ಅಥವಾ ಆ ಸಮಯವು ಯಾವಾಗ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ತಿಳಿಯದು. ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ.
37 “ನೋಹನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವಾಗಲೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. 38 ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಜನರು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ನೋಹನು ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ತನಕ ಜನರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು.
