²⁴il leur dit: Retirez-vous; car la jeune fille n'est pas morte, mais elle dort. Et ils se moquaient de lui.

²²Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart,^(A) daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.”^(B) And the woman was healed at that moment.^(C)

²³When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes,^(D) ²⁴he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead^(E) but asleep.”^(F) But they laughed at him.
