She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, (C)and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [b]coverings.
8 And they heard (D)the [c]sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the [d]cool of the day, and Adam and his wife (E)hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, (F)and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable(A) for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband,(B) who was with her, and he ate it.(C) 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;(D) so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.(E)
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking(F) in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid(G) from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”(H)
10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid(I) because I was naked;(J) so I hid.”
