9 1 And after getting into a boat he crossed the sea and came to his own town.
Jesus Heals a Paralytic
2 And just then some people were carrying a paralyzed man lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” 3 Then some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” 4 But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up and walk’? 6 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Stand up, take your bed and go to your home.” 7 And he stood up and went to his home. 8 When the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to human beings.

Gesù, veduta la loro fede, disse al paralitico: «Figliolo, coraggio, i tuoi peccati [ti] sono perdonati». 3 Ed ecco, alcuni scribi pensarono dentro di sé: «Costui bestemmia». 4 Ma Gesù, conosciuti i loro pensieri, disse: «Perché pensate cose malvagie nei vostri cuori? 5 Infatti che cos’è più facile, dire: “I tuoi peccati sono perdonati[b]” o dire: “Àlzati e cammina”? 6 Ma, affinché sappiate che il Figlio dell’uomo ha sulla terra autorità di perdonare i peccati, àlzati», disse allora al paralitico, «prendi il tuo letto e va’ a casa tua». 7 Ed egli si alzò e se ne andò a casa sua. 8 Visto ciò, la folla fu presa da timore[c] e glorificò Dio, che aveva dato tale autorità agli uomini.

9 Und er trat in das Schiff, fuhr hinüber und kam in seine Stadt[a].
2 Und siehe, da brachten sie einen Gelähmten zu ihm, der auf einer Liegematte[b] lag. Und als Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sprach er zu dem Gelähmten: Sei getrost, mein Sohn, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben!
3 Und siehe, etliche der Schriftgelehrten sprachen bei sich selbst: Dieser lästert!
4 Und da Jesus ihre Gedanken sah, sprach er: Warum denkt ihr Böses in euren Herzen?
5 Was ist denn leichter, zu sagen: Deine Sünden sind dir vergeben!, oder zu sagen: Steh auf und geh umher?
6 Damit ihr aber wisst, dass der Sohn des Menschen Vollmacht hat, auf Erden Sünden zu vergeben — sprach er zu dem Gelähmten: Steh auf, nimm deine Liegematte und geh heim!
7 Und er stand auf und ging heim.
8 Als aber die Volksmenge das sah, verwunderte sie sich und pries Gott, der solche Vollmacht den Menschen gegeben hatte.

9 Ezután Jézus beszállt egy bárkába, átkelt a tavon, és a saját városába ment. 2 Ott néhányan egy béna férfit vittek hozzá hordágyon. Jézus látta azoknak a hitét, akik hordozták a beteget, ezért odafordult a bénához: „Bízzál fiam, a bűneid meg vannak bocsátva!”
3 Ezt hallotta néhány törvénytanító is, akik egymás között így tanakodtak: „Ez az ember Istent gyalázza!”
4 Mivel Jézus tudta, hogy mit gondolnak, ezt mondta nekik: „Miért gondoltok ilyen rosszat? 5 Mi könnyebb? Azt mondani, hogy meg vannak bocsátva a bűneid, vagy azt, kelj fel, és menj el? 6 Győződjetek meg róla: az Emberfia felhatalmazást kapott, hogy itt a földön megbocsássa a bűnöket.” Ekkor a beteghez fordulva így szólt: „Kelj fel, fogd a hordágyat, és menj haza!” 7 Ekkor a férfi felkelt, és hazament. 8 Amikor látta ezt az összegyűlt sokaság, félelem és csodálat töltötte el őket, és dicsőítették Istent, aki ilyen nagy hatalmat adott az embernek.

9 Jésus monta dans un bateau, traversa le lac et se rendit dans sa ville[a]. 2 On lui amena un paralysé couché sur un brancard. Lorsqu’il vit la foi de ces gens, Jésus dit au paralysé : Prends courage, mon enfant, tes péchés te sont pardonnés.
3 Là-dessus, quelques spécialistes de la Loi pensèrent en eux-mêmes : « Cet homme blasphème ! »
4 Mais Jésus connaissait leurs pensées. Il leur dit : Pourquoi avez-vous ces mauvaises pensées en vous-mêmes ? 5 Qu’est-ce qui est le plus facile ? Dire : « Tes péchés te sont pardonnés », ou dire : « Lève-toi et marche » ? 6 Eh bien, vous saurez que le Fils de l’homme a, sur la terre, le pouvoir de pardonner les péchés.
Alors il dit au paralysé : Je te l’ordonne : lève-toi, prends ton brancard, et rentre chez toi !
7 Le paralysé se leva et s’en alla chez lui.
8 En voyant cela, les foules furent saisies de frayeur et rendirent gloire à Dieu qui avait donné aux hommes un si grand pouvoir.
