⁶ But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

^40 (A)For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

^27 (A)And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave— ^28 (B)just as the ^(C)Son of Man did not come to be served, ^(D)but to serve, and ^(E)to give His life a ransom ^(F)for many.”

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

^31 (A)“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the ^[a]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. ^32 (B)All the nations will be gathered before Him, and ^(C)He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. ³³ And He will set the ^(D)sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
