³⁶ When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out,^(A) like sheep without a shepherd.^(B)

⁴¹ Moved with compassion,^(A) Jesus reached out His hand and touched^(B) him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.”

¹³ When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her^(A) and said, “Don’t cry.”

³³ But a Samaritan^(A) on his journey came up to him, and when he saw the man, he had compassion.^(B)
