^13 (A)“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy^[a] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

^24 (A)“Strive ^(B)to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. ^25 (C)When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ^(D)‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ^(E)‘I do not know where you come from.’

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am ^(A)the way, and ^(B)the truth, and ^(C)the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

⁹ I am the door. If anyone enters by me, ^(A)he will be saved and will go in and out and ^(B)find pasture.

²⁴ And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^(A)have crucified the flesh with its ^(B)passions and desires.

²⁷ Again, ^(A)when a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. ²⁸ Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. ²⁹ Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ O house of Israel, are my ways not just? Is it not your ways that are not just?

³⁰ “Therefore ^(B)I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. ^(C)Repent and turn from all your transgressions, ^(D)lest iniquity be your ruin.^{[a] 31 (E)}Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and ^(F)make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! ^(G)Why will you die, O house of Israel? ^32 (H)For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; ^(I)so turn, and live.”
