³³ But ^(A)seek first ^(B)the kingdom of God and his righteousness, ^(C)and all these things will be added to you.

²⁷ What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on ^(A)the housetops. ²⁸ And ^(B)do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him ^(C)who can destroy both soul and body in hell.^[a]

Judging Others

^37 (A)(B)“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; ^(C)forgive, and you will be forgiven;

³¹ Instead, ^(A)seek ^(B)his^[a] kingdom, ^(C)and these things will be added to you.

^32 (D)“Fear not, little ^(E)flock, for ^(F)it is your Father's good pleasure to give you ^(G)the kingdom. ^33 (H)Sell your possessions, and ^(I)give to the needy. ^(J)Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with ^(K)a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. ^34 (L)For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

^15 (A)If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, ^16 (B)and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good^[a] is that? ¹⁷ So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
