² He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; ³ and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ ^[a]Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

¹⁸ And I also say to you that ^(A)you are Peter, and ^(B)on this rock I will build My church, and ^(C)the gates of Hades shall not ^[a]prevail against it. ^19 (D)And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth ^[b]will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

^13 (A)“Watch therefore, for you ^(B)know neither the day nor the hour ^[a]in which the Son of Man is coming.

^35 (A)Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, ^[a]that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:

^19 (A)Go ^[a]therefore and ^(B)make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

^16 (A)If^[a] anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”

^31 (A)For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will ^(B)kill Him. And after He is killed, He will ^(C)rise the third day.”

²¹ Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, ^(A)sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have ^(B)treasure in heaven; and come, ^(C)take up the cross, and follow Me.”
