⁴⁶ For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

¹¹ When the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

¹⁹ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a gluttonous man, a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is justified by her children.”

¹⁷ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

³¹ “Which of the two did the will of his father?”

They said, “The first.”

Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and prostitutes enter the kingdom of God before you.

¹¹ The Pharisee stood and prayed these things about himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men: extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
