⁴ “Blessed are ^(A)those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

⁵ “Blessed are the ^(B)meek, for they ^(C)shall inherit the earth.

⁶ “Blessed are those who hunger and ^(D)thirst ^(E)for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

⁷ “Blessed are ^(F)the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

⁸ “Blessed are ^(G)the pure in heart, for ^(H)they shall see God.

⁹ “Blessed are ^(I)the peacemakers, for ^(J)they shall be called ^(K)sons^[a] of God.
