²² But I tell you that anyone who is angry^(A) with a brother or sister^[a][b] will be subject to judgment.^(B) Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’^[c] is answerable to the court.^(C) And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.^(D)

²⁶ But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

¹⁷ You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?^(A)

² Five of them were foolish and five were wise.^(A)

⁸ The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’^(A)
